Architecture   -    Interior

Founded in 2017, SUM is a Melbourne based architectural and interior design studio who specialise in bespoke residential and hospitality design.

Led by Finn Warnock and Jaslyne Gan, SUM finds creative inspiration in the balancing of the multitude of influences which come to bare on a building. We strive to carefully curate these influences into vibrant and intense settings for life

Our architecture interprets and responds to the time and place in which it is located, both physically and culturally. We approach every project with an open mind but also an awareness of the context which has come before and will follow on once the work is complete

Built work is driven by an understanding of traditional craft passed through a contemporary aesthetic lens and making techniques. We are hands on and believe that the process of ‘making’ a building doesn’t stop on paper but extents into the process of shaping the materials which constitute the finish piece.
